WELCOME TO ROAD RASH FOR WINDOWS(r) 95!!!

This file details the procedure to get this prerelease
Road Rash(tm) demo running on your system and features
of the demo and shipping product. We've  really had a
good time playing Road Rash on the PC and wanted to
get it out to the public as early as possible; but
remember, Road Rash is still in its development stage
and won't be finished until early this fall. Please
read all of the following important information including
the section on Direct X under System Requirements before
starting the Road Rash demo.

Find out just how fast your PC really is. Road Rash,
the most aggressive motorcycle racing/combat game ever,
explodes on your Windows 95 PC with hard-hitting,
full throttle action that'll bring you to your freshly
skinned knees. Dodge traffic, outrace cops, and thrash
pedestrians on your way to winning the Cup and becoming
the menace to society your mother always worried about.
Nobody said you had to do this alone, so race/battle up
to eight of your so-called friends in network mode or go
mano-a-mano in vicious modem play. Developed with Papyrus
Design Group, Road Rash will blow you away with its high
resolution SVGA graphics and amazing sensation of speed.
Remember, nice guys will always finish last!!

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS:
- IBM PC and Compatible
- Pentium 75 or better
- 16 MB of Ram
- Direct Draw compatible video card with 1mb ram
- Direct Sound compatible sound card 
- Double speed cd-rom or better
- DirectX 2*
  * To run Road Rash, you MUST have the latest Direct X
    drivers for your Sound and Video cards. It is recommended
    that you check your hardware manufacturers website for
    the latest driver updates. In addition, if you haven't
    already loaded DirectX 2 from another 'Windows 95 Native'
    product, then you will need to download DirectX 2.
    
    NOT HAVING THE LATEST DIRECT X DRIVERS MAY CAUSE SYSTEM
    DIFFICULTIES. 

RUNNING ROAD RASH:
Create a new directory on your hard drive. Then download the
file RASHDEMO.EXE into that directory. Then execute RASHDEMO
and it will automatically self-extract. Once this function
has completed, run DEMORASH.EXE and the game will then start.
You then want to go straight to the RESTROOM and select
CONFIGURE INPUT. Here you can select which keyboard or
joystick settings you prefer. Once this is completed, you
should select GAME MODE. Here you can either try out
THRASH MODE (Single player).
